Your Mission

The Account Executive, New Business role represents a significant growth opportunity within our team. This net new position is focused on bringing our newest advertising products to market and driving interest and demand with first-time clients across Canada. With huge upside potential, this role is ideal for a true hunter — someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, excited by a "blue sky" opportunity to build a book of business from scratch.

You will be instrumental in identifying, pitching, and closing deals with net new brands and agencies, leveraging Narcity’s platform to meet their top-of-funnel awareness, content, and performance objectives.

Business Development & New Client Acquisition

  • Proactively prospect and qualify new business opportunities with mid-to-large advertisers and agencies.
  • Identify whitespace verticals and decision-makers to bring new advertisers into the Narcity ecosystem.
  • Pitch and close performance-driven products, branded content, and creator marketing campaigns.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent deal flow and quarterly OTE goals.


Strategic Sales Planning

  • Act as a solutions consultant — advising prospects on how Narcity’s offerings align with their marketing goals.
  • Customize campaign strategies for first-time clients, ensuring strong storytelling and ROI.
  • Lead first-touch conversations and pitch narratives — you are the tip of the spear in outbound sales.


Market Enablement & Tracking

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new offerings.
  • Use CRM tools to track pipeline, forecast accurately, and drive accountability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine messaging and go-to-market positioning based on feedback from new leads.


You Must Have

  • Proven experience in media sales, agency business development, or B2B growth strategy.
  • Experience selling branded content, editorial sponsorships, or native media products B2B.
  • Demonstrated success in a hunter role — opening new accounts, not farming existing ones.
  • Deep understanding of the digital media landscape and marketing funnel tactics.
  • Excellent communication, pitch, and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong pipeline discipline.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and performance analytics tools.


Nice to Have

  • Fluency in French (preferred but not required).
  • Familiarity with publisher-side content studios or media platforms.
  • A network of contacts within the Canadian media and agency landscape.


Compensation & Structure

  • OTE Range: $100,000 – $145,000 CAD, including base salary and commission.
  • Base + Commission model with clear targets aligned to revenue performance.
