At Alteryx, our Account Executives, Enterprise Field, work to drive analytic-led digital transformation within our customers and high-potential prospects. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities by engaging with C-suite and executive-level stakeholders, as well as driving adoption across functional business groups. You will build trusted advisor relationships and utilize these to establish Alteryx as the preferred analytics platform, creating new business opportunities. Collaboration with teams such as Alliances, Sales Engineering, Value Engineering, and Customer Success is essential to progress opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new business across multiple functional areas within targeted accounts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer processes and problems, building relationships with multiple buying personas.
  • Articulate how Alteryx solutions align with customer business objectives using a customer-centric approach.
  • Coordinate effectively with pre-sales and post-sales support teams.
  • Develop tailored account plans to meet revenue targets and ensure balanced growth.
  • Manage and grow the sales pipeline, collaborating with marketing, partners, and channels.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the Alteryx platform and articulate its value proposition.
  • Establish positive, trust-based relationships grounded in understanding customer needs and delivering value.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of quota-carrying sales experience in software / technology.
  • Experience closing quick wins and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to influence C-level executives and build consensus in large organizations.
  • Track record in qualifying and closing consultative, subscription-based sales.
  • Strong time and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of the data-analytics industry and competitor products.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
