WHAT YOUR WORK WILL FOCUS ON
- Hunt and close new business by building and managing your own pipeline
- Conduct research and manage new client relationships
- Perform cold calls, In-Mails & emails to book initial prospecting meetings
- Conduct demos with interested prospects and advance them through your pipeline
- Follow your workflow to ensure prioritized & regularly scheduled follow-ups with your prospects
- Maintain a clean and up-to-date pipeline forecast to be reviewed weekly with your manager
- Actively participate and contribute to team meetings, Slack discussions & 1:1s
- Leverage a mix of communication methods (phone, meetings, InMails, emails) to proactively engage your prospects
- Achieve monthly and quarterly targets (KPIs = activity, booked meetings, total revenue)
- Become a product knowledge expert
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
- Reporting to the COO, you’ll work alongside an all-star team of sales professionals from across the globe, passionate about serving our customers, and collaborating with a healthy dose of friendly competition
- You’ll also work closely with the Marketing team to identify messaging that resonates with our buyers (namely, event planners) so that you can find and message personas that will most find value in the EventMobi Solution
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years of sales experience (B2B preferred)
- Background in associations, member-based organizations, or event planning. Bonus if you have all three — as you’ll need to speak the language of our prospects daily.
- Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, G-Suite
- Attention to detail, and a strong and consistent work ethic
- A desire for feedback, adaptability, and quick learning
- A love for testing, tracking, and iterating on processes
- The ability to thrive in ambiguity and work autonomously
- Willingness and aptitude to learn the technical aspects of the platform
- Genuine curiosity & excitement to build a career in sales
- Obtained a Bachelor's degree or relevant college equivalent
