Job summary

Dentsu Creative is seeking an Account Executive in Toronto to join our Accounts team. You will support client objectives, manage day-to-day activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality campaigns for a Quick Service Restaurant brand.

You will coordinate with account supervisors and internal stakeholders, maintain project plans, and ensure timely delivery while upholding strong client relations and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey ideas clearly.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Account Supervisor and wider team with client communications and administrative tasks, including project estimates, contact reports, timelines, presentation materials, project briefs, and other account-related documentation.
  • Collaborates with creative, strategy, media and production to manage projects from initial briefing to final execution and delivery, including coordinating meetings, copy revisions and approvals, and workback schedules.
  • Manages and leads smaller-scale projects and workstreams with guidance from the Account Supervisor.
  • Coordinates and schedules meetings and maintains weekly status reports.
  • Builds and reviews copy decks and campaign materials.
  • Updates project plans based on client feedback and distributes relevant documentation as needed.
  • Organizes and maintains shared files and resources, ensuring teams have access to required assets.
  • Builds positive, collaborative relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

As an Account Executive, you will be an integral member of the Accounts team, providing support and assistance in managing client business needs and ensuring day-to-day activities run smoothly. The Account Executive helps establish an organized, collaborative approach to account management by supporting client objectives and contributing to the success of the broader account team. You will be working on a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand and will play a key role in supporting national campaigns and initiatives. As such, you should have an appreciation for managing work across multiple markets and audiences, while maintaining a strong attention to detail to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and leads smaller-scale projects and workstreams with guidance and support from the Account Supervisor.
  • Coordinates and schedules meetings and maintains weekly status reports.
  • Builds and reviews copy decks and campaign materials.
  • Updates project plans based on client feedback and distributes relevant documentation as needed.
  • Organizes and maintains shared files and resources, ensuring teams have access to required assets.
  • Builds positive, collaborative relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Approximately 3+ years of relevant experience in account management, client services, marketing, advertising, or a similar role.
  • QSR, food service, retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or related consumer brand experience is considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The salary range for this position is CAD $55k-$60k Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
