Responsibilities

• Research and cultivate new business connections via warm and cold outreach including LinkedIn, Email and Phone.
• Manage a defined territory/patch and develop account-level outreach strategies for target accounts within it.
• Build and execute multi-touch sequences tailored to prospect personas and buying triggers.
• Set introductory meetings and generate qualified leads.
• Conduct discovery conversations to qualify fit and generate pipeline for Regional Managers.
• Develop and refine call scripts, email templates, and objection-handling approaches with the sales team.
• Identify and track net-new opportunities across assigned accounts using Salesforce.
• Attend industry-specific conferences.
• Update Salesforce with details of all communications with customers.
• Follow up on inbound leads.
• Participate in strategy discussions with sales team and other cross-functional groups.

What will you be doing?

• Set introductory meetings and generate qualified leads.
• Conduct discovery-level conversations to qualify fit and generate pipeline for Regional Managers.
• Research and prepare introductory calls/execute Survalent sales strategy.
• Develop and refine call scripts, email templates, and objection-handling approaches in collaboration with the sales team.
• Identify and track net-new opportunities across assigned accounts using Salesforce.
• Attend industry-specific conferences.
• Update Salesforce with details of all communications with customers.
• Follow up on inbound leads.
• Participate in strategy discussions with sales team and other cross-functional groups.
• Other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

• University Degree with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Spanish fluency is required.
• 1-4 years of experience working in customer facing roles, preferably in sales.
• Must be passionate about sales and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Must be Proactive & willing to adapt and learn new skills and technologies.

The following skills and experience will be considered as assets:

• Experience in the utility space
• Knowledge of different regulatory bodies in the utility space in North America

This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Manager, Account Development and Channel Partnership. The salary range for this role is $50,000–$55,000 plus a variable compensation component.
