Job description

You love making sure the spotlight turns on.

At Direct Focus, Account Coordinators are the operational backbone of our Client Experience team. You’re the person who keeps projects moving, information organized, details accurate, and teams aligned. You help turn complexity into clarity and ensure client commitments become reality.

This role isn’t about being an administrator.

It’s about becoming a future client leader.

We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious, highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how strong client relationships are built from the inside out.

If you’re the kind of person who notices the thing everyone else missed, enjoys creating clarity, consistency, and momentum, and takes pride in helping teams succeed, we’d love to meet you.

What We Mean By Great Client Service

At Direct Focus, great client service means more than being responsive. It means understanding our clients’ businesses, anticipating needs, communicating clearly, creating value proactively, and helping clients achieve meaningful business outcomes.

We pride ourselves on being trusted partners - not just service providers. We build long-term relationships by combining strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a genuine commitment to helping our clients succeed.

Keep Projects Moving

Coordinate project intake, track timelines and deliverables, maintain documentation, and help ensure work moves efficiently through the organization. You’ll help keep projects on schedule, teams aligned, and priorities moving forward.

Support Client Delivery

Prepare meeting materials, document key decisions, track action items, and help ensure client requests are communicated clearly across internal teams.

Protect Quality

Review deliverables and monitor workflows to help ensure work is accurate, on-brand, aligned with client requirements, and reflective of Direct Focus quality standards before it reaches the client.

Identify Risks Early

Monitor timelines, budgets, and project activity, helping Account Managers identify potential issues before they become problems.

Learn the Business

Work alongside Account Managers and Account Directors, developing the skills and business acumen required to grow into future client leadership roles.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means:

  • Deliverables are coordinated accurately and on time
  • Documentation is organized and reliable
  • Internal teams trust your information
  • Project risks are identified early
  • Clients experience smooth, professional service
  • You continuously improve your knowledge of marketing, client service, and agency operations
What You Bring
  • 1-3 years of marketing, communications, business support, or project coordination experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Comfort using project management platforms, digital tools, and AI-enabled productivity solutions

Agency experience is an asset, but not required.
