Job summary

MTU Aero Engines AG is seeking an Accessory Engineering Coordinator to support the engineering team in designing, developing, validating, and implementing aircraft engine tooling and maintenance solutions. The role combines technical design, R&D, project coordination, and documentation to advance new capabilities and improve maintenance processes.

You will assist engineers with CAD modeling, prepare machining drawings, and ensure tooling meets operational and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed an engineering degree.
• Proficient in 3D CAD software such as NX Siemens, SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Additive manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems is a plus.
• Experience with machining design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with tooling development by creating CAD models and procuring machining drawings.
• Verify functionality of tooling and prepare tooling validation documents for custom tooling.
• Identify equivalencies for test consumables by conducting studies and procuring equivalency reports.
• Assist engineers with R&D of new capabilities by reading maintenance manuals and analyzing process requirements.
• Project manage sub tasks to ensure deliverables are achieved in a timely manner.
