Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Director of Academic Logistics, the Academic Logistics Manager is responsible for coordination and oversight of centralized academic logistics, including faculty workload administration, SWF / FLAC processes, instructional space, scheduling, and resource allocation to support effective program delivery. Collaborating closely with academic leadership such as Associate Deans, the Academic Logistics Manager develops strategies for continuous improvement across academic divisions; they will identify operational challenges, implement data-driven solutions, and streamline processes to enhance academic service delivery and student and faculty experiences.
As a key resource and partner to academic and College leadership, the Academic Logistics Manager plays a critical role in coordinating academic resources based on real-time enrolment trends and pedagogical requirements. The incumbent applies deep operational knowledge to optimize instructional space usage (e.g., matching course types to appropriate labs and facilities), and collaborates with Scheduling and Associate Deans to ensure that SWF (Standard Workload Forms) and faculty workload planning are accurate and cost-effective. Additionally, the role involves contributing to policy development, promoting cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring alignment with institutional strategic and financial goals through efficient resource management.
