Summary of Responsibilities

• Perform and ensure proper completion of all avionics activities as contracted by the customer, both in the hangar and on the ramp.
• Act as a lead on major inspections and modifications of aircraft projects, overseeing and guiding junior technicians and apprentices.
• Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate.
• Verify that all components installed are properly certified.
• Follow the avionics control manual and comply with Transport Canada standards.
• Attend training courses as directed by management.
• Adhere to the Safety Management System Policy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid Transport Canada E license is an asset.
• Minimum of five years of related experience.
• Experience working on Business Aircraft types is an asset.
• Ability to work under pressure with strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and other applications.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and nights.

Education

In the process of completing a recognized Avionics program or equivalent is required.
