Job summary

The Pioneer Co-Operative Association Limited in Abbey, AB, is seeking a casual, on-site Retail Associate to operate the cash register, provide gas pump service, and deliver friendly customer service. You will stock shelves, assist with forklift operation, load feed and farm products, and perform other duties as assigned. Heavy lifting is involved.

Valid driver's license required; safety policy applies. One position is available with wages of $16.00–$20.45 per hour, posted on 14-Aug-2026.

Qualifications

• Farm knowledge is an asset; training may be provided for the right candidate.
• Experience in retail and/or cash duties is preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift is desirable.
• Must be organized and able to multi-task.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Valid driver license required.
• This is a Safety Sensitive Position under the Pioneer Co-ops policy.
