Job summary

Airbus Atlantique Canada Inc. is seeking an AAOS Coordinator for its Mirabel site. You will interface with field teams to deploy AAOS standards and transfer knowledge at the workstation level through on-the-job training.

You will collaborate with a multi-functional team to deploy a new continuous improvement system and support industrial performance in the sector. The role includes coaching operators and leading improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma principles, methods, and tools.
• Ability to tutor REAPs, technicians, and operators on AAOS building blocks.
• Understanding of change management basics and ability to adapt tutoring methods accordingly.
• Ability to provide structured feedback to leaders regarding routine management and performance dialogue.
• Identify deviations from standards and propose simple recommendations through self-assessment.

• Train/coach operators and N1+N2 on AAOS topics by leading awareness sessions with teams.
• Launch and participate in REAP and RUAP management Go-Look-Sees to provide structured feedback.

• Co-facilitate AAOS Kaizen workshops and roadmap for maturity growth.
• Participate in Industrial Assessments.
• Share best practices with other AAOS agents and boards.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the HO AAOS, the AAOS Coordinator will interface with field teams. They are responsible for the deployment of AAOS standards. This person is part of the local factory/FAL teams and thus ensures the transfer of AAOS knowledge at the workstation or line level through on-the-job training.

The AAOS Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the industrial performance of their sector. They will work with a multi-functional team (MFT) in the context of deploying a new continuous improvement system.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and improve boards and routines in collaboration with operational teams;
• Train/coach operators and N1+N2 on AAOS topics by leading awareness sessions with teams (practical training);
• Launch and participate in REAP and RUAP management Go-Look-Sees in order to provide structured feedback (Management Control routine);
• Measure and report maturity (KPIs, activities, self-assessment);
• Co-facilitate the holding of AAOS Kaizen workshops and the roadmap for maturity growth;
• Participate in Industrial Assessments;
• Share best practices with other AAOS Agents, AAOS Boards, and solid routines (daily, weekly, monthly).

Profile sought:

• DEC or bachelor's degree (an asset) in industrial engineering (technical or bachelor's degree) with an orientation in continuous improvement (3 to 5 years of experience);
• Good knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles, methods, and tools;
• Ability to provide tutoring to REAPs, technicians, and operators on the use of AAOS building blocks;
• Understanding of change management basics and ability to adapt tutoring methods accordingly;
• Ability to provide structured feedback to leaders regarding routine management and performance dialogue;
• Ability to identify deviations from standards and propose simple recommendations through self-assessment.
