Job description

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Job Role

Drives growth for the Advanced Electrical Services group within Ring Power’s assigned territory.

Manages their territory effectively, including conducting cold calls, building and strengthening relationships with customers, and expanding the customer base.

Provides or facilitates technical and educational support to customers, collaborating with other Ring Power technical and training experts to build credibility and advance customer learning about products, services, and solutions.

Assists managers in developing annual goals and objectives for the market, including specific accounts, products and/or industries, with periodic progress reviews. Collaborates with other Ring Power professionals, departments, and divisions on marketing, sales, service, and operations.

Develops and maintains customer accounts, including establishing proper credit levels, tracking all sales opportunities and activities in the CRM, and keeping records current.

Develops and submits yearly territory forecast and plan for approval by manager.

Serves as the customer's primary contact for technology including Vision Link, Product Link, MCC, and all other Caterpillar applications.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Formal Education: High School diploma or GED.

Experience: 1-2 years.

Required / Credentials

Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

Valid driver's license.

Ability to pass a drug test.

Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria

Sales experience.

Industry or technical experience.

CRM experience.

Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

Updating of Knowledge

Job requirements frequently change requiring re-training once or more per year.
