Qualifications

Responsabilités

  • Monitor and coordinate supervised visitation and exchanges within the Supervised Access Program.
  • Ensure visits are safe, respectful, and in line with program policies.
  • Provide on-site support and orientation to volunteer visit monitors.
  • Respond to questions and conflicts with professionalism while maintaining boundaries.
  • Complete documentation and required reports; maintain accurate records.
  • Attend mandatory staff training and program meetings.

The On‑Site Worker plays a critical role in supporting safe, neutral, and child-focused visits and exchanges between children and their families, while ensuring that program guidelines and service agreements are respected.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The PNRPT On‑SiteWorker is responsible for monitoring and coordinating supervised visitation andexchange services within the Supervised Access Program. This role ensuresvisits are conducted safely, respectfully, and in accordance with programpolicies, while providing support to clients, children, and volunteer visitmonitors.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Monitor and facilitate safe,neutral, and child‑focused supervised visits and exchanges
  • Update program lineups and informclients of schedule changes or cancellations
  • Prepare visit spaces andactivities to ensure a welcoming and appropriate environment
  • Ensure all participants adhere toprogram guidelines and intervene as required
  • Supervise visits (up to twohours) when volunteer visit monitors are unavailable
  • Provide on‑site support andorientation to volunteer visit monitors
  • Respond to client questions,concerns, and potential conflicts with professionalism
  • Review visit observation notesfor accuracy and completeness by the end of the shift
  • Complete and file criticalincident reports as required
  • Collect program fees, issuereceipts, and maintain accurate payment records
  • Maintain a tidy and safe visitsite; ensure supplies are returned and stored properly
  • Prepare and photocopy documentsas required for program delivery
  • Attend mandatory staff trainingand Supervised Access Program meetings
  • Administer client satisfaction oroutcome surveys as directed
  • Perform other related duties asrequired

ABOUT YOU

You are calm,responsible, and respectful in your interactions with children, families, andcolleagues. You are comfortable working in emotionally charged environments andcan de-escalate situations while maintaining professional boundaries. You valueteamwork, accurate documentation, and client‑centered service delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 education, withsome post‑secondary coursework in social services or a related field
  • At least two (2) years of relatedexperience
  • Experience working with diversepopulations, including variations in culture, race, socio‑economic status,gender identity/expression, and sexual orientation
  • Basic understanding of childcustody, access, and family dynamics
  • Knowledge of child‑centered andtrauma‑informed approaches
  • Awareness of domestic violencedynamics and family conflict
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict‑managementskills
  • Ability to maintain accurate andtimely records
  • Non‑violent crisis interventionskills
  • Basic First Aid (asset)
  • Bilingual (English and French)preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Proof of legal entitlement towork in Canada
  • Successful Vulnerable SectorCheck prior to first shift
  • Availability to work evenings andweekends
