Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking a 3rd or 4th year Electrical Apprentice to join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Calgary, AB.

The Apprentice Electrician is responsible for maintenance, inspections, modifications, and installation/dismantling of electrical systems throughout our construction portfolio.

The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as required. Tools, uniforms, and PPE are supplied.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in new and existing construction projects.
  • Install conduits and wiring through walls, floors, and ceilings.
  • Installing and terminating electrical equipment and fixtures.
  • Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of Code.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in the apprenticeship program.
  • Strong commercial experience in construction.
  • Class 5 license and clean driver's abstract is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to read drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety.
  • Willing to travel.
