Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking a 3rd or 4th year Electrical Apprentice to join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Calgary, AB. The Apprentice Electrician is responsible for maintenance, inspections, modifications, and installation/dismantling of electrical systems throughout our construction portfolio. The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as required. Tools, uniforms, and PPE are supplied.

Responsibilities:

1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in new and existing construction projects.
2. Install conduits and wiring through walls, floors, and ceilings.
3. Installing and terminating electrical equipment and fixtures.
4. Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of Code.
5. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Currently enrolled in the apprenticeship program.
2. Strong commercial experience in construction.
3. Class 5 license and clean driver's abstract is required.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Able to read drawings and schematics.
6. Ability to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safety.
7. Willing to travel.
