Job summary

Grande Prairie Volkswagen is seeking a 3rd or 4th year automotive apprentice to support our growth in Grande Prairie, AB. This full-time role offers $36.00–$41.00 per hour and opportunities to learn with VW training.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, communicate with the Service and Parts teams, and deliver quality workmanship for client safety and satisfaction. Must have a driver’s license and own tools.

Qualifications

• Apprentice in 3rd or 4th year of automotive technician program.
• Willingness to learn and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Own tools and readiness to develop Volkswagen knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles.
• Communicate with Service and Parts teams.

Your Duties:

As an Automotive Technician, you will:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles
• Communicate effectively with the Service and Parts teams
• Deliver quality workmanship that keeps our clients safe and satisfied
• Duties assigned by Service Manager and/or Shop Foreman as required
• Stay up to date on all current Volkswagen training
