Aramark Canada is hiring for a 3rd Cook Food Prep Worker to support a brand-new lodge opening near Chapleau, Ontario. The role involves preparing sandwiches, salads, meats, and other items using standard recipes, with a focus on food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities include menu prep, proper handling, rotation, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Training and mentorship are offered as part of joining this growing team at a new lodge opening.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year prep work or food service-related work preferred.
• Knowledge of food prep, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is helpful.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication with others.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills

Responsabilités

• Prepares all food items using prep lists and standard Aramark recipes.
• Follows proper food handling procedures.
• Maintains accurate rotation of food to assure top quality and freshness.
• Manages leftover foods correctly; cover, label, date, and store according to Aramark standards.
• Maintains clean and orderly refrigerators and work areas.
• Ensures stations are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at the end of the shift.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment that conforms to all food safety standards and regulations.
• Follows safety policies and accident reporting procedures.

3rd Cook Food Prep Worker - New Lodge Opening Near Chapleau, ON

Exciting opportunity! ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services is hiring 3rd Cook Food Prep Worker for a brand-new remote lodge opening near Chapleau, Ontario at the end of November. Join our team and play a key role in launching this exciting new operation.

About The Role

The 3rd Cook Food Prep Worker are responsible for the preparation of sandwiches, salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, nuts, dairy and starches. Successful candidates should have some experience in remote camps or commercial industries. The Food Prep Worker prepares, and portions food items and performs various duties in accordance with production requirements and Aramark sanitation standards. Uses daily worksheets and standardized recipes to cook meals.

Job Responsibilities
