Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited proudly lists Casino Rama Resort as a key venue. We are seeking a Part-Time Third Cook to join the culinary leadership team, reporting to the Sous Chef. You will craft hot and cold dishes, assemble salads, and plate meals while upholding quality and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• One year of recognized culinary experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Post-secondary certificate or diploma from a recognized culinary program preferred.
• Passion for food is a must.
• Hot and cold food prep experience is preferred.
• Must envision a career in the culinary industry.
• Desire to develop and learn new skills.
• Must be able to follow direction and work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food under the supervision of the Sous Chef.
• Make cold trays and sandwiches.
• Prepare salads, dressings, vegetables and fruits.
• Bake, roast, steam, broil and otherwise cook food.
• Ensure appropriate presentation and garnishment of dishes.
• Maintain inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Executive Chef John Cordeaux and his culinary leadership team are looking for someone with a passion for food and a creative mind that is eager for development opportunities to join their team in the role of Third Cook.
