IGG Canada is seeking a skilled 3D Animator to join our dynamic art team. You will create high-quality animations for real-time 3D game assets, bringing characters to life while supporting the project’s artistic vision.

Location is on-site in Vancouver, with a salary range of $55,000–$90,000 CAD per year, negotiable based on experience. The role emphasizes collaboration with Lead Animator, Creative Director, and cross-functional teams.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional character animation experience using Maya.
• Proficient with auto-rigging tools and character rigging, with the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated experience working in Unity, with at least one shipped game title.
• Exceptional skills in 3D character animation for bipedal and humanoid figures, as well as other organic forms.
• Willingness and aptitude to learn 2D animation in Spine for in-game use.
• In-depth knowledge of gameplay animation technologies and production tools.
• Enthusiasm for learning new workflows and continuously improving production processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled 3D Animator to join our dynamic art team. In this role, you will create high-quality animations for real-time 3D game assets, bringing characters and gameplay experiences to life while supporting the project's overall artistic vision.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: 988 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V5Z 1K7 (Fully on-site)

Salary Range: $55,000 - $90,000 annually, negotiable and commensurate with skills and experience

Employment Terms

• Less than 1 year of relevant experience: Initial 3-month contract
