Job summary

Joseph Transportation Group - Agriculture Division in Mount Elgin, ON is seeking a 310T Licensed Technician to diagnose and repair tractors and trailers and to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure safe fleet operation.

The role requires a valid 310T license and a G driver's license, with Monday–Friday hours and occasional Saturdays. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits, with on-site parking and opportunities for growth within a fast-paced company.

Qualifications

• Valid 310T license (mechanic) required.
• Minimum one year experience as a mechanic in transportation.
• G driver's license; asset if A or D
• Proven mechanical abilities in gas & diesel repairs
• Knowledge of PACCAR, Cummins diagnostics is helpful
• Able to work independently in a busy environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible hours/shifts advantageous

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair units in the shop.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure safe operation.
• Prepare maintenance schedules and document work orders.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Keep shop area clean and tools organized.
• Record parts used and stock levels in the system.
• Maintain accurate maintenance reports.
