Job summary

Contrans Vrac in Mississauga is seeking a licensed 310T Lead Hand mechanic for an afternoon shift (1:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., Tue–Fri). You will supervise the shop and lead maintenance tasks on a busy fleet, while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Daily duties include inspecting, diagnosing, repairing tractors, vans, and flatbed trailers, ordering parts, and documenting work. Candidates must have a 310T license and own a personal tool set; benefits include health/dental and allowances.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid 310T license.
• Must own a personal set of tools.
• Afternoon shift: 1:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Tue–Fri.
• Location: Mississauga, Ontario.

• Install, dismantle, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair tractors, vans, and flatbed trailers.
• Identify and determine parts needed for repairs.
• Document all work, parts used and completed inspection sheets.

Requirements

• Must hold a 310T license.
