Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in fleet maintenance.
• Valid full G driver’s license required.
• Ability to work in an armed and unionized environment.

We are hiring a 310-T Fleet Technician for our Canadian Cash Logistics Fleet & Diesel business. The position will be based in our Mississauga Branch.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors to resolve accident and maintenance issues
• Coordinate with operations leadership to ensure vehicle availability over 90%
• Ensure that fleet vehicles are properly maintained and all repairs are tracked according to our programs and processes
• Work with operations leadership and vendors to ensure assets meet regulatory inspection/certification requirements, CVI, and PM schedules
• Maintain and order stock parts as needed
• Maintain overall functionality, cleanliness, and safety of the garage
• Identify opportunities to reduce Repair & Maintenance costs and the overall cost of asset operation

What we are looking for

• Required: Possession of a valid 310-T and/or 310-S license
• Ability to work in an armed and unionized environment
• Valid full G driver’s license
• Minimum 5 years experience in fleet maintenance
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance
• Thorough understanding of transport maintenance and industry standards
• Strong technical skills in Outlook, Excel, Word
• Strong electrical and diagnostic scan tool knowledge
• Team player
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize daily
