This full-time, permanent role is based at Queensdale Ave, Ottawa, ON. You will work with a skilled team, mentor apprentices, and contribute to safety and quality standards while leveraging your brakes, suspension, and diagnostics expertise. The position offers a base rate of $42.00/hour with potential for higher pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid 310S Automotive Service Technician license.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Bring a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
• Experience with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs across a wide range of vehicles.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing your expertise and supporting their skill development.
• Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks.
• Identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks.
