Job summary

Smartway Trailer Rentals in Bradford is seeking a licensed 310J or 310T Technician to maintain and repair a fleet of trailers close to home with competitive pay and a shop that respects your trade.

This full-time role offers $38.00 - $48.00/hour CAD, wellness allowance, RRSP match, and paid time off, plus vacation time. You will work on electrical, braking, and hydraulic systems, document repairs, and coordinate with operations while following OH&S.

Qualifications

• Valid 310J or 310T licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a fleet of trailers, including electrical, braking, and hydraulic systems.

• Document repairs via tablet-based work orders.
• Coordinate trailer availability with operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and OH&S compliant workspace.

What You'll Be Working On

You’ll maintain and repair a fleet of trailers - electrical, braking, and hydraulic systems, bodies, axles, hubs, tires, and wheels. Reefer (refrigeration) experience is a bonus.

• Scheduled preventive maintenance
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, landing gear, crossmembers and pick up plates
• Document repairs via tablet-based work order system
• Coordinate trailer availability with operations
• Maintain a clean, organized bay and follow OH&S regulations

What You Need
