Electrilogix is a small, skilled electrical contracting business specializing in machine wiring, control panels, and automation. Now that Electrilogix is established in the industrial automation sector, we are actively pursuing opportunities to expand our services into residential and commercial electrical contracting, allowing us to leverage our technical expertise and broaden our capabilities across a wider range of electrical applications. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on electrician to join us on a part-time, casual basis—with the potential to grow into a full-time role.

We are also open to working with an ESA licensed subcontractor as an alternative to hiring an employee.

The Role:

We’re looking for a licensed 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician with solid experience in residential, commercial, and industrial work. If you also have experience or interest in automation, machine wiring, or control systems, that’s a big bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Electrical work in residential, commercial, and industrial environments (service, renos, upgrades, EV Chargers, troubleshooting)
• Occasional support on automation or industrial control panel projects (training provided as needed)
• Flexible schedule with varied job sites around the Region of Waterloo and surrounding areas

What We’re Looking For:

• 309A license in good standing (required)
• Experience in residential, commercial, and industrial settings (required)
• Valid Working at Heights certification (required)
• Valid Elevated Work Platform (EWP) license (required)
• Bonus: Experience or interest in EV car charger installation
• Bonus: Experience with control wiring, PLCs, or industrial automation
• Reliable transportation, hand tools, and a good work ethic
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a small team
• Safety-focused and customer-service oriented
