We are seeking a 309A Electrician in the London area, reporting to the Utilities Superintendent. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with OESC standards. Your work will ensure the safety, functionality, and efficiency of electrical systems on our projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in various settings.
• Diagnose electrical problems using testing devices and tools.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and project managers on electrical installations and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work, materials, and time.
• Support and guide apprentices and junior electricians.
• Complete onsite administrative duties such as logs, reports, and safety documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean abstract and reliable transportation.
• Proven experience as a certified electrician, preferably in diverse settings.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety.
