Job summary

Fish Creek Nissan in Calgary, AB is seeking a 2nd Year Apprentice Automotive Technician. You will perform oil changes, tire services, and complete multi-point inspections, and communicate findings to the Service Advisor.

You’ll work with diagnostics and repairs on vehicle systems, including brakes and engines, using computerized tools to isolate faults. Candidates should have oil change and tire experience, basic computer skills, and dealership experience.

Qualifications

• Traditional Apprenticeship OR Motive Power grads welcome.
• Oil change and tire experience is an asset.
• Basic computer skills and shop experience required.
• Must possess a Canadian driver's license and safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil & filter changes and tire services.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and present findings.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicle systems.
• Inspect and test brakes, belts, fuel systems, and electrical components.
• Use computerized diagnostics to isolate faults and support service.
• Meet physical demands of the job in a busy dealership.
