Job summary

Fish Creek Nissan, part of AutoCanada, is hiring an Automotive Technician in Calgary, AB. You will diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and reliability to customers.

You will mentor apprentices and maintain a clean, compliant work environment. Ideal candidates hold a provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate (Red Seal is a plus) and have experience across makes and models.

Qualifications

• Provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate, in process or completed.
• Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset.
• Completion of related post-secondary program or training courses.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance per RO with efficiency and OEM standards.
• Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage repairs and customer communication.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend repairs for safety and reliability.
• Document all work on the repair order per OEM standards and warranty rules.
