Job summary

Carrier is seeking a 2nd shift Assembly Technician in Canada to safely operate power tools and assemble components to spec. The role requires reading blueprints and BOMs, and willingness to learn multiple stations. Overtime and weekend hours may be required. Competent teamwork and strong attention to detail are essential.

You will join a manufacturing team focused on quality, efficiency, and safety while contributing to on-site production at Carrier facilities in Canada.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ≥1 year experience in manufacturing assembly.
• Experience reading blueprints and BOMs.
• On-site availability at Carrier facility.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate power tools to assemble with precision and quality.
• Follow prescribed procedures in product assembly and testing.
• Assemble components on time and per quality specifications.
• Identify improvement areas and communicate changes effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and support department housekeeping.
• Willingness to learn multiple stations within the department.
• Overtime and weekend hours may be assigned.
