Job summary

BlockReel is casting a skilled 2nd AC for a pilot episode in Toronto. The role requires handling camera loads, slates, and assisting the 1st AC and DP to keep camera operations organized. You will prepare and organize gear, mark talent, slate, and manage media on set.

Experience on narrative projects, especially pilots or features, is essential. The shoot spans 10–12 days in November 2026 with 10–12 hour days; craft services and lunch are provided, and you’ll be an integral part of the camera

Qualifications

• Experience on narrative projects, especially pilots or features.
• Proficient in preparing and organizing camera equipment.
• Able to slate, mark talent, and manage media on set.
