Our independent production is seeking a skilled Camera Operator to join our team for an upcoming pilot project in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a drama pilot with a dark, psychological tone, exploring themes of isolation and redemption. We're looking for someone who can help us achieve a visually compelling and intimate aesthetic. Your key responsibilities will include operating the camera under the guidance of our Cinematographer, assisting with camera setup and breakdown, and ensuring all shots meet the creative vision. We need someone who owns their own camera package (e.g., Blackmagic Pocket 6K or similar) and essential accessories. Please provide a reel or portfolio showcasing your camera operating work. This is a deferred compensation role (points + deferred pay). We anticipate a 3-day shoot in early November 2026, with flexible hours on set. Snacks and craft services will be provided during the shoot days. Post-production will follow the shoot, with opportunities for continued collaboration if desired.
