Reporting to the Principal, the Early Childhood Educator (ECE) will be part of the Early Learning team. In this role, the ECE will collaborate with the classroom teacher to implement a full-day early learning program within a classroom setting which will enhance children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional development. The ECE will share responsibilities with other educators for instruction, assessment, and supervision as well as communication with families and school teams. The ECE will also establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other community services providers working with children. The ECE may be required to provide supervision and age-appropriate (learning) programming for groups of students as part of the extended day program as required.
