Job summary

SurveyMonkey is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for a temporary full-time position in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. The role is in the Medicine, Chatham department, from November 2026 to May 2027, with a salary range of $37.24–$38.19 per hour and UNIFOR as the bargaining unit.

The successful candidate must hold the Certification of Competence as an RPN with the Ontario College of Nurses, current BCLS, and at least two years of hospital medical unit experience, with palliative and geriatric care

Qualifications

• Current Certification of Competence as a Registered Practical Nurse with the Ontario College of Nurses.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Two years hospital nursing experience on a medical unit.
• Palliative Care and Geriatric experience.
• Practice level per the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) including blood product administration and IV therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on a medical unit in a hospital setting.
• Process physician orders and administer/measures medications (oral, IV, IM, subcutaneous).
• Administer blood products and manage IV therapy as required.
• Perform venipuncture and IV initiation with safety and accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to CKHA nursing practice standards.

• Evidence of the successful completion and/or practice in processing physician orders, administration of oral, subcutaneous, IM, suppository, aerosol and IV medications, venipuncture and IV initiation and management
• Demonstrated adherence to the expectations of nursing practice at CKHA
