Job summary

Okanagan Landing Elementary School is seeking an Intermediate Teacher (Grade 6/7) for a 0.2 FTE position, following a Friday-only schedule. The assignment runs from September 8, 2026, to June 25, 2027, on a temporary contract basis.

0.2 FTE in the area of Intermediate Teacher (Grade 6/7)

Fridays

This is a temporary contract position.

This position is effective September 8, 2026 and will continue until June 25, 2027.

While all applicants will be considered, preference will be given to qualified applicants who self-declare Indigenous ancestry.

The starting annual salary for a school teacher position ranges from $63,670 to $116,190, with placement on the range based on the length of service and qualifications in accordance in accordance with the collective agreement. Positions of Special Responsibility receive an additional pay allowance in accordance with the collective agreement based on the levels 1, 2, or 3.

Intermediate Teacher

• BC Teaching Certificate membership in the Teacher Regulation Branch and eligibility for Teacher Qualification Service card.
