Job summary

Kootenay-Columbia School District is seeking an Education Assistant (Temporary) at J.L. Crowe Secondary School to support student learning, classroom routines and daily activities.

This part‑time position is 28.5 hours per week (8:43 am–2:55 pm), scheduled for ten months per year, with an immediate start and an end date of December 18, 2026; the assignment may be extended.

Wages are set per Schedule A of the Collective Agreement with CUPE Local 1285, with a posted rate of pay: $32.46 per hour.

Salary for the above listed position(s) will be in accordance with Schedule "A" of the Collective Agreement in effect between the Board of Education and Local 1285, Canadian Union of Public Employees. Appointments are subject to Section 15, 16 and 17 of the Collective Agreement.
