School District No. 91 Nechako Lakes is seeking a Relief Personal Attendant at David Hoy Elementary to support students with autism. The position offers 5.5 hours per day, five days a week, starting as soon as possible while the regular employee is away.

The role involves assisting teachers and professionals in delivering programs, advocating for students, and collaborating with the school-based team; a Grade 12 and an Education Assistant certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate).
• Completion of an Education Assistant Certificate Program.
• Completion of POPARD program (30 hours).
• BC Driver's License - Class 5 Full Privileged with an exemplary driving record.
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures.
• 6 months of experience working with people with behavioral disorders.
