Job summary

School District #33 (Chilliwack) is seeking a Before and After School Care Assistant at Tyson Elementary School. This role starts immediately and runs before and after school, with an hourly rate of CAD 28.47 for approximately 1.33 hours per day and about 6.65 hours per week.

The position spans 10 months of the year, with a deadline of November 5, 2026 for application. If already a permanent employee, hours may be limited to 40 hours per week across positions unless overtime is pre-authorized by

Shift (subject to change): 6:50am – 8:10am

Hours per Day/Week: 1.33 hours per day / 6.65 hours per week

This position occurs before and after school. If the successful applicant is already a permanent employee with SD33 they will not work more than eight (8) hours per day/40 hours per week, in a combined number of positions unless overtime is pre-authorizedby the employee's immediate Supervisor.
