Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Technician to join the Infrastructure Operations team in Calgary. You will handle hardware and network diagnostics, install equipment, and participate in 24/7 on-call rotations as part of a dynamic data center environment.

The role requires 2+ years of hardware troubleshooting, 1+ year of networking experience, and a high school diploma. You will work independently and with teams, documenting work and improving processes within AWS's AIS group.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• On-site coverage in Calgary in shifts and/or on-call rotation.
• Respond to high-severity incidents within SLAs.
• Diagnose and repair servers and network devices.
• Troubleshoot network connections and coordinate with data center teams.
• Create documentation and contribute to process improvements.
