Job summary

RBC is seeking a reporting analyst co-op to turn raw data into actionable insights through reports and dashboards. You will work with cross-functional teams, write SQL queries, and develop Python scripts to build and deliver reports.

Ideal candidates are undergraduates in Math/Stats/IT/CS with strong data analysis and visualization skills (Tableau, SAS VIYA). The 4-month winter term runs Jan-Apr 2027, located in Ontario.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree with focus on Mathematics, Statistics, IT, or Computer Science.
  • Programming skills in SQL, Python, R and/or SAS or other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to perform complex data analysis on large data volumes.
  • Familiarity with data visualization software such as SAS VIYA, Tableau.
  • Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills.
  • Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

What is the opportunity?

As a Reporting Analyst co-op student, you’d support RBC’s business teams by turning raw data into actionable insights through reports and dashboards.

What will you do?

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Currently enrolled in Undergraduate degree with focus on Mathematics, Statistics, IT, or Computer Science
  • Programming skills in SQL, Python, R and/or SAS and/or other data analysis tools
  • Ability to perform complex data analysis on large volumes of data
  • Familiarity with data visualization software such as SAS VIYA, Tableau, etc.

This posting is for a 4-months Winter 2027 Student placement with a start date of January 2027, and end date of April 2027. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2027 ; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2027), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

Please ensure that you meet these eligibility requirements before applying- candidates who apply but are found to be ineligible are not able to be considered.
