Job summary

WAHA seeks a Dietary Aide in Moose Factory, ON to assist in dietary services across hospital units, including tray assembly and delivery. You will work under supervision in a casual, on-site role within the WAHA health system serving remote communities.

Must have Food Handler’s Safety certification or willingness to obtain one; English is essential, Cree language ability is an asset. Salary is hourly with HOOPP pension benefits and shift flexibility.

  • Provides dietary services in the kitchen, cafeteria, delivers to and picks up trays from the patient units

  • All other related duties as assigned

  • Ability to follow the dietary sanitation code
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Reliable and able to work all shifts
  • English is essential for this position
