Job summary

Weeneebayko Area Health Authority (WAHA) is seeking a Housing Clerk in Moose Factory, ON. You will manage housing records, occupancy agreements, and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure smooth tenant transitions.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Facilities Operations, you will maintain databases, generate housing reports, and support confidential admin processes across WAHA's remote communities.

Qualifications

  • Confidentiality and discretion are essential.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills are required.
  • Post-secondary education in Office/Business Administration preferred.
  • G or G2 driver's license is required.
  • Knowledge of Cree language is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain digital and physical filing systems for housing tenants and maintenance records.
  • Prepare, issue, and track occupancy agreements and notices.
  • Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and inspections with maintenance/cleaning staff.
  • Maintain updated lists of available, occupied, and under-repair units across communities.
  • Update housing databases and spreadsheets with accurate information.
  • Assist in preparing monthly housing reports for leadership and finance departments.

Who You Are
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of small engine components and mechanical systems
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, power tools, and repair equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
What You’ll Do
  • Maintain digital and physical filing systems for housing tenants, properties, and maintenance records
  • Prepare, issue, and track occupancy agreements, notices, and other tenant correspondence
  • Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and inspections with maintenance and cleaning staff
  • Maintain accurate lists of available, occupied, and under-repair units across all communities
  • Enter and update housing information in databases and spreadsheets
  • Assist in preparing monthly housing reports for leadership and finance departments
What You Bring
  • Successful completion of secondary school or equivalency
  • Good customer service skills
  • Post-secondary education in Office Administration, Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and administrative experience will be considered
  • G or G2 Driver’s License
  • Ability to communicate in the local native Cree language is an asset

Salary:

$55,419.00 - $60,489.00
