What is the opportunity?

RBC Wealth Management offers students valuable hands-on experience, working alongside experienced professionals. As an Administrative Assistant, you will support Advisor teams in providing exceptional client service.

What will you do?
  1. Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with clients and prospects.
  2. Provide proactive client service, focusing on problem resolution and attention to detail. Liaise with various departments as needed.
  3. Respond to client inquiries regarding account transactions, tax receipts, account reporting, etc.
  4. Assist with client onboarding and maintaining existing client accounts.
  5. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and current client files.
  6. Support Advisor teams and clients throughout the Wealth Management process, maintaining an audit of activities and priorities.
  7. Support assigned projects, conduct research, and share information with the team.

Must have
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Professional, warm, and friendly client service skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
  • Experience in the securities industry

Eligibility criteria for student positions include:

  • Returning to school after the work term, or
  • Graduating immediately after the work term and requiring the full work term to graduate successfully.
