Job summary

Maple Ridge Volkswagen is seeking an Apprentice Automotive Technician (1st Year) to join our team in Pitt Meadows, BC. The successful candidate will perform oil changes, tire services, and complete multi-point inspections, presenting findings to the Service Advisor. Basic computer skills and shop experience are required; a valid Canadian driver's license is a must.

Qualifications

• Oil changes and tire services experience required or asset.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with shop software.
• Previous dealership/shop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and filter changes with attention to safety.
• Execute tire services and associated inspection tasks.
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Conduct diagnostics and repairs on brakes, engines, and electrical systems.
• Operate computerized diagnostic tools to isolate faults.
