The position offers a two-weeks-on/one-week-off rotation with meals, accommodations, and travel provided. A Food Safe certificate is required, and Red Seal or related certifications are a plus.

The First Cook plays a key role in executing the daily dinner service with support from the culinary team. Working with Culinary leadership, the First Cook is responsible for preparing the feature proteins required for dinner service, ensuring that quality standards are met. As a senior member of the production team the First Cook will demonstrate effective leadership and will be responsible, along with Culinary leadership, for monitoring daily operations.
1st Cooks work on a rotational schedule of 2 weeks on/1 week off. Site locations are in remote settings, requiring either air travel to site, or ground travel on our shuttle. You may be required to work nights, weekdays, weekends, and general holidays. Wages are paid hourly and can total up to $1,742 per week, depending on experience and hours worked.
