Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a First Cook for a part-time position in Canada. The role emphasizes mentorship in the kitchen, delivering outstanding service and cuisine while supporting a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Two to five years in a cook position or extensive culinary experience.
• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent education.
• Red Seal or equivalent certification is an asset.
• Foodsafe Certificate is an asset.
• Solid understanding of meat, starch, sauces, soups and food safety preparation.
• Ability to lift items weighted similar to a crate of potatoes and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work flexible hours and special events.
