Job description

World Leading CPG company is hiring Warehouse cashiers for a Sales Event in Markham to start immediately.

Location : Markham, ON (McCowan & Elgin Mills) Must drive or carpool, no public transportation available there.

Working hours : 8:45am to 6:00pm

Schedule : Sept 4, Sept 5, Sept 11, Sept 12, 2025

Payrate : 18 / hr plus vacation pay (No cash job, SIN only)

Job Information :

• Processing and receiving payments and issuing receipts to customers
• Handle cash, credit, or check transactions with customers
• Verify the cash register charge on debit machine – must be identical
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction

POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior work in a similar or related environment as a cashier
• Detail-oriented with good merchandising skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle a high volume of transactions
