Job description

Position Overview:

The Children’s Wellness Worker is responsible for protecting children in care by performing duties in accordance with the Child and Family Services Act, Ministry Regulations and Standards, Abuse Protocols, and Dilico Anishinabek Family Care policies and procedures. The role involves ensuring that all service needs of children in care are met.

• Occupation: Accommodation, travel, tourism and related services supervisors
• Number of Positions: 1
• Wage: $32.66 to $41.37 hourly
• Hours per Week: 32.5

Qualifications:

• A minimum two-year Human Services Diploma is required; a three-year BSW is preferred.
• At least two years of experience with Anishinabek children, youth, individuals, and families, preferably in Child Welfare.
• Successful Criminal Records Search and Vulnerable Sector Search.
• Ability to work flexible hours, travel regularly, and be on-call.
• Valid Class G Driver’s License, access to a reliable personal vehicle, and $1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance.
• Candidates with relevant experience and qualifications without specific education requirements will also be considered.
