Job summary

Dow Inc. has an exciting Operator role at its Sabine River Operations. You will operate process equipment, monitor conditions, and work with the shift team to maintain safe and efficient plant performance.

The role requires a 12-hour shift, willingness to work overtime and holidays, and includes participation in the Emergency Response Team. Dow offers extensive training and growth opportunities across a global materials science company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in an Operations role within a Chemical Manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work 12-hour shift schedule and overtime, including holidays and weekends.
• Must have a valid US Driver's License.
• No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Follow operating policies to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operation.
• Operate process equipment by monitoring conditions and control systems to meet goals.
• Be part of the on-site Emergency Response Team and complete required training.
• Conduct shift relief and ensure smooth handoffs to the next shift.
• Use process knowledge to improve plant performance and discipline.
• Maintain qualifications and complete training goals in a timely manner.
• Mentor and train operations personnel on processes and troubleshooting.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled tasks arising from events.
• Perform Immediate Response/Severe Weather activities as assigned.
