Dow Inc. in Texas is seeking an Operator to join the Sabine River Operations team. You will apply operations knowledge to run the plant safely, reliably, and efficiently, collaborating with a shift team to anticipate and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years in a chemical operations role.
• Or 3+ years of relevant military experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must work 12-hour shifts and overtime including holidays and weekends.
• Must have a valid US driver7s license.
• Able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Follow Operating Discipline policies to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Operate process equipment and monitor conditions to maintain targets.
• Serve on-site Emergency Response Team and complete required training.
• Conduct effective shift relief and handoffs to incoming staff.
• Identify improvements using facility processes and change management.
• Maintain qualifications and complete training goals in a timely manner.
• Mentor and train operations personnel on processes and troubleshooting.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled operational tasks.
• Participate in Immediate/Severe Weather Response activities.
