Summary

Provides Global Quality leadership to the organization in an expanded manner, administering Quality Management System and associated quality protocols, along with supporting the operation teams towards achieving their quality performance targets, aligned to Global strategic initiatives.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Leads and supports the design, implementation and deployment of CLSs Quality Management System & related processes such as Customer Satisfaction Surveys, Monthly Operations Reviews, Industry Certifications
  • Provides leadership to CLS sites to define the critical Quality business processes, tools & system applications required for the site to meet its Quality objectives .
  • Reviews results from various sources (Customer Scorecards, Customer & Regulatory Audits, Operational Performance, Feedback from Global Customer Units etc.) to ensure that issues and action plans are communicated to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Provides leadership and guidance to the sites to ensure readiness for external certifications (ie. ISO9001:2K, ISO 13485, TL9001, ISO14001, ANSI/ESD, etc.) & Monitors site performance to ensure ongoing conformance to the CLS Quality Management System
  • Provides training to site personnel on global processes and procedures as required to ensure sufficient knowledge & skills exist at the sites to independently support & maintain CLSs quality initiatives.
  • Develops, document, deploy, & support key Quality processes and protocols such as Audit Compliance, Customer Feedback, Root Cause Corrective Action, Change Control, Complaint Management in alignment with strategic initiatives
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and processes, including ISO 9001/9002, ISO 13485, TL9001, and ESD Controls. Excellent understanding of industry quality practices, certification requirements for various types of business, industry and government quality recognition programs, etc

  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal, executives and external customers.
Physical Demands

  • The job works in generally good conditions with occasional exposure (10% - 33%) to noise, odours, dust, drafts, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.
  • Occasional overnight travel is required.
Salary

The stated range includes Base Salary and target Short-Term Incentive (STI) compensation only. A comprehensive benefits package is offered in addition to this range.
The range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including but not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate.
